Itinerary

Day 1 - Quito

Upon arrival in Quito, you'll be greeted at the airport and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, take some time to relax and unwind after your journey

Day 2 - Quito Colonial Town

 begin your exploration of Quito's highlights. Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before heading out to discover the city's main attractions. Begin with a visit to the Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its colonial architecture and churches such as La Compañía and San Francisco. Next, take a ride on the TelefériQo, a cable car offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. Finally, make your way to Mitad del Mundo, the equator line monument where you can straddle both hemispheres at once. After a day of exploration, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant featuring Ecuadorian cuisine before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3 - Tambo Paxi

we depart Quito at 11am, and drive to Cotopaxi National Park, after doing the registration we enter the national park and we take you to Tambo paxi lodge for acclimatization 

this particular day is for acclimatization purposes only you can trek near the lodge in multiple trails 

accommodation in private rooms for one night.

Day 4 - Jose Rivas Refuge

The team gathers at Tambo Paxi at 1 PM for lunch and a gear check before departing for the Jose Rivas Refuge. After a scenic drive to the car park at 4,780 meters, we trek for 40-50 minutes to reach the refuge. Settling in, we relax and enjoy dinner at 5 PM, preparing ourselves for the night climb ahead. With anticipation building, we rest in readiness for the ascent of Cotopaxi under the starry sky.

Day 5 - Cotopaxi summit

The climb kicks off at 12 midnight as our guides team up and gear up for the ascent, a challenging journey lasting approximately 6-7 hours to reach the summit at 5,970 meters.

Upon conquering the summit, we relish in the accomplishment, capturing memories with stunning photographs before descending safely back to the refuge.

Following our triumphant return, we enjoy a hearty breakfast before bidding farewell to Cotopaxi National Park.

We then embark on a drive to Riobamba for a well-deserved rest at Hotel Hacienda Abras Pungo, where we will enjoy a nice dinner.

Day 6 - Chimborazo Basecamp

Following a rejuvenating rest, we'll collect you from the comfort of Abras Pungo Hotel in Riobamba and transport you to Chimborazo Basecamp Lodge. This serves as a crucial stage for acclimatization before the climb, offering a range of self-guided trails for climbers to explore and adapt to the altitude.

At 7 pm, a hearty dinner awaits, providing sustenance and camaraderie as you prepare mentally and physically for the adventure ahead.

Day 7 - Chimborazo High camp

We gather with the team at noon for lunch, accompanied by a brief orientation session. Following our meal, we embark on a drive to the Carrell Refuge at 4800 meters, which serves as our starting point.

After settling in at the refuge, we commence a scenic trek lasting approximately two hours to reach the High Camp at 5300 meters. Upon arrival, the team can unwind, capture scenic vistas, or opt for some rest to prepare for the impending climb.

At 5 pm, a satisfying dinner is served, after which we encourage relaxation until 11 pm. As the evening progresses, between 11:30 pm and 12 pm, the team will prepare for the climb, ensuring readiness for the ascent.

Day 8 - Chimborazo Summit

After enduring 6-7 hours of climbing, the summit window opens between 6-7:30 am, with 7:30 being the latest time climbers can reach the top of either Vintimilla or Whymper.

Following this remarkable achievement, climbers are safely escorted back to the Refuge, a journey that takes approximately 3 hours. Once back at the High camp, a hearty breakfast is served to replenish energy levels.

After breakfast, we then proceed to climb down, and drive out to Basecamp, from wherer we transport you to Baños de Agua Santa for a well-deserved rest and relaxation at Hotel Spa Monte Selva. Here, amidst serene surroundings, you can unwind and rejuvenate after your climb.

In the evening, we gather for a memorable farewell dinner, celebrating the shared experiences and achievements of our journey together. This final evening provides an opportunity to reflect on the adventure while enjoying delicious cuisine and camaraderie with fellow climbers.

Day 9 - Quito and Farewell

Following a well-deserved rest and relaxation, as well as some free time to explore Baños at your leisure, we organize transportation to take the team back to the airport. This ensures that clients can smoothly return home, concluding their adventure on a high note.
