Exploring La Paz:
Our journey begins amidst the vibrant streets of La Paz, where the bustling markets and historic downtown await. Upon your arrival at El Alto airport, our team will extend a warm welcome, setting the stage for an unforgettable adventure.

Acclimatization Amidst the Peaks:
To acclimatize to the altitude, we’ll embark on an exhilarating climb up the El Tipu ferrata, immersing ourselves in the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains. This day of exploration and preparation will ensure we’re ready for the challenges ahead.

Conquering Nevado Pequeno Alpamayo:
Venturing to the picturesque Chiarkota Lagoon, nestled beneath the towering Nevado Condoriri, we’ll establish our first base camp. From here, we’ll set our sights on summiting the iconic Nevado Pequeno Alpamayo, soaking in the stunning vistas along the way.

Ascending Huayna Potosi:
Continuing our expedition, we’ll journey to the base camp at Zongo, where the majestic Huayna Potosi awaits. Ascending to a high camp, we’ll prepare for the exhilarating ascent to the summit, reveling in the panoramic views that stretch before us.

The Majesty of Nevado Illimani:
Our final leg takes us to the base of the imposing Nevado Illimani, where the rugged terrain of Puente Roto sets the stage for our next challenge. Itinerary:

Day 1 - La Paz

Upon your arrival at the airport in La Paz, Bolivia, our friendly team will be there to greet you and provide seamless transfer to your hotel in the heart of the city.

(Altitude: 3,600m / 11,800ft)

Meals: Meals are not included on this day, allowing you the freedom to explore the culinary delights of La Paz at your leisure.

Day 2 - Ferrata el Titi

Departing from your hotel at 9:00 am, we embark on a short transfer to El Titi, where an exciting adventure awaits us: a two-hour easy climbing session on the Via Ferrata. This exhilarating activity serves as an excellent introduction to our acclimatization process while providing a thrilling start to our mountain expedition.

After completing the climb, we'll indulge in a delicious box lunch, surrounded by the stunning natural scenery. Following our meal, we'll return to the hotel, arriving around 2:00 pm, leaving the rest of the afternoon free for relaxation and preparation for our upcoming journey into the mountains.

Day 3 - Chiarkota lake

Departing from the hotel at 9:00 am, we embark on our journey towards Palcoco (La Rinconada), where our dedicated team of muleteers eagerly awaits us. After ensuring our gear is securely loaded onto the animals, we commence a scenic trek lasting approximately two hours, culminating at the serene Laguna Chiarkhota, our Base Camp for the expedition.

In the afternoon, we undertake an invigorating acclimatization hike, ascending to an altitude of 5000 meters to prepare our bodies for the challenges ahead. Afterward, we return to the comfort of our camp, ready to rest and recharge for the adventures to come.

Day 4 - Pequeño Alpamayo

We rise before dawn, energized and eager to conquer one of the most picturesque peaks in the Cordillera Real. Embarking on our ascent, we traverse along stunning ridges and winding paths, surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas. The journey to the summit of Pequeno Alpamayo, standing tall at 5,370m/17,618ft, is an exhilarating experience that not only rewards us with awe-inspiring views but also aids in our acclimatization process.

Our round trip climb will span the entire day, filled with challenges and triumphs. As we stand atop this majestic peak, we revel in the sense of achievement and the anticipation of what lies ahead. With Pequeno Alpamayo conquered, we are now fully prepared for the next thrilling ascent: Huayna Potosi, the first of the two six-thousand-meter peaks awaiting us in this extraordinary expedition.

Day 5 - Zongo lake

Today marks the transition from one base camp to another as we bid farewell to Chiarkota Base Camp and begin our journey towards new heights. After dismantling our base camp and handing over the loads to our reliable team of muleteers, we embark on a scenic hike back to the main route.

Upon reaching our designated vehicle, we embark on a drive to the Huayna Potosi hut, our next base camp nestled amidst the majestic Andean landscape. Here, amidst the tranquil surroundings, our dedicated staff prepares a hearty and nourishing meal, replenishing our energy for the upcoming challenges.

As anticipation builds for our next climb, we take the time to rest and prepare ourselves mentally and physically. The camaraderie among our team grows stronger as we bond over shared experiences and aspirations, ready to conquer the heights that await us.

Day 6 -High Camp

Today marks a crucial step in our expedition as we ascend to the Huayna Potosi High Camp, also known as Campo de las Rocas. With our luggage expertly carried by porters, we set out on our climb towards higher altitudes.

Upon reaching the high camp, our dedicated staff awaits, ready to provide us with nourishing meals and comforting hot drinks. As we refuel our bodies and recharge our spirits, we take the time to prepare ourselves mentally and physically for the challenges that lie ahead on summit day.

The camaraderie among our team grows stronger with each shared experience, fostering a sense of unity and determination as we embark on this collective journey towards the summit of Huayna Potosi.

Day 7 - Summit Potosi

As dawn breaks, we embark on our eagerly anticipated summit push. With determination and perseverance, we ascend towards the lofty peak of Huayna Potosi, fueled by the adrenaline of the challenge and the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

Upon reaching the summit, a profound sense of accomplishment washes over us as we soak in the panoramic views from this elevated vantage point. It's a moment to cherish and celebrate the culmination of our efforts and the triumph of human spirit over nature's obstacles.

After capturing memories and reflections at the summit, we begin our descent back to Campo de las Rocas, where our porters await our return. With each step downward, we carry with us the memories of our ascent and the indomitable spirit of mountaineering.

Upon reaching Base Camp, our trusty vehicle stands ready to whisk us back to La Paz, where we can reflect on our adventure and revel in the sense of achievement that comes with conquering Huayna Potosi.

Day 8 - La Paz

Today is a well-deserved rest day in the vibrant city of La Paz. You have the freedom to explore the city at your own pace, immersing yourself in its rich culture and fascinating history. For those seeking guidance, we offer an optional guided tour of the city, where you can discover iconic landmarks, bustling markets, and hidden gems tucked away in the labyrinthine streets.

In the evening, we highly recommend indulging in a memorable cultural experience by attending a dinner accompanied by captivating Andean and Bolivian music and dance at Pena Huari. Immerse yourself in the rhythmic beats of traditional music and witness the mesmerizing performances that showcase the vibrant heritage of Bolivia.

Day 9 - Puente Roro Basecamp

Departing from La Paz in the early morning, we embark on a scenic journey in a private vehicle to the picturesque town of Pinaya, nestled at the base of the majestic Illimani mountain. Situated at an elevation of 3940 meters (12,930 feet), Pinaya serves as our starting point for the next leg of our adventure.

Upon arrival in Pinaya, we organize our belongings and load them onto mules before commencing our trek towards Puente Roto. This captivating hike takes us through rugged terrain and pristine landscapes, offering breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After a fulfilling day of trekking, we establish our base camp at Puente Roto, where we will rest and recharge for the challenges ahead.

Day 10 - Ilimani

With the assistance of our dedicated porters, we embark on our journey towards Nido de Cóndores. The day begins early as we set out on foot, traversing challenging terrain that includes steep rock slopes and glacial moraines. Despite the demanding ascent, the awe-inspiring scenery keeps us motivated along the way.

After approximately five hours of trekking, we arrive at our high-altitude campsite, Nido de Cóndores. Here, our skilled staff promptly set up camp and prepare nourishing meals and hot beverages, providing us with the sustenance needed to replenish our energy reserves for the days ahead.

Day 11 Summit Ilimani

At the break of dawn, we embark on our summit push, determined and ready to conquer the towering peak of Nevado Illimani. With each step, we ascend closer to the summit, facing the challenges of high altitude and rugged terrain with unwavering resolve.

Upon reaching the summit, we are greeted by breathtaking panoramic views, a testament to our perseverance and determination. We take a moment to savor this triumphant achievement before beginning our descent.

Descending from the summit, we return to Nido de Cóndores, where our dedicated porters await us. With their assistance, we continue our journey downward, descending towards Puente Roto, where our expedition concludes.

Day 12 - Return to La Paz

Today marks the end of our exhilarating adventure in the mountains. We start by dismantling our camp, carefully packing our gear, and ensuring everything is in order for our journey back. With our equipment loaded and the donkeys ready, we begin our hike back to the road.

Once we reach the road, our reliable 4x4 awaits us, ready to transport us back to La Paz. During the drive, we reflect on the incredible experiences and unforgettable memories we've made during our time in the mountains.

As we approach La Paz, we bid farewell to the rugged beauty of the Andean landscape, knowing that the spirit of adventure will forever remain within us.
